Club Events Calendar 

The Club holds and attends many events throughout the year, from small runs right up to large Public shows. While these events are primarily a chance for everyone to view the vehicles, it should be remembered that any profits realised help raise money for Charity, so you are all more than welcome to come along!

If you are a BOVC member and want to enter your vehicle in an event, then pick your chosen event from the table below and download and print the entry form. (Adobe Acrobat Reader Needed)

Herron Eun 14/04/2018 From here we will take a leisurely drive and head for Ballyronan Marina on the shores of Lough Neagh where we will have our picnic lunch. There will be a dedicated area for us to park. There is a coffee shop on site plus the usual facilities. We will leave here around 2.45 pm On leaving the marina we have a lovely drive until we reach the newly refurbished Chimney Corner Hotel on the Antrim Line near Mallusk where we will enjoy our evening meal at 5pm.
FBHVC Drive it Day 22/04/2018 MEET AT CAR PARK OPPOSITE B&Q SPRUCEFIELD LISBURN BETWEEN 11am AND 5pm admission free. in aid of Air Ambulance- Sprucefield  
April Club Event 24/04/2018 Club Night - Visit to Banvalley Heritage Centre.  
May Run 12/05/2018 ROUTE  From here we will travel via Downpatrick to Strangford for a picnic lunch ( don’t  forget your picnic ). After our picnic we will hug the coastline travelling via Kilclief, Ballyhornan, Ardglass, Minerstown, Tyrella and finishing for our evening meal in Frenchs Café and Bistro, 2A Castlewellan Road,Clough, BT30 8RD.
May Club Meeting 29/05/2018 Club Night- George Cross Memorial Gardens.
Outlet Centre 01/06/2018 A  PARADE OF OLD VEHICLES will take place from the car park of THE BOULEVARD  formerly THE OUTLET, just off the A1 along a route around the old Banbridge 100 course into the town centre before finishing back at The Boulevard Centre, just off the A1 All types of “old” vehicles are welcome including motorcycles, commercials, tractors and cars etc.
Bronte Run 09/06/2018 At approximately 11.30 am we will leave for a scenic drive through the Antrim countryside to Pattersons Spade Mill where we will have a conducted tour and our picnic lunch. From here we will take another leisurely drive through the Antrim Countryside to Glenoe Waterfall and then on towards Islandmagee stopping at the Rinka to sample their famous ice cream. After a short time here we will make our way to Whitehead Golf Club for our evening meal at 5pm.
June Club Night 26/06/2018 Club Night- Sir Thomas and Lady Dixon Park.  
Stanley Woods Run 07/07/2018 Gathering Place  The Old George Hotel, Caddells Lane, Rathfriland, BT34 5PX at 10 am for coffee tea and scones departing at 11.15am.Ladies can shop for half an hour at Martha Janes. Journey Via- Town on the hill, Trevor Ross, a short stop with the Herring Gutters before a picnic stop and a short talk ( don’t forget your picnic ) with Longanna. Followed on by a short drive via the Brea of Dolly. Finishing off  with a piece of Flax  BT31 9QD.
T.T Run 18/08/2018 Leaving the Old Mill we proceed along the Ard’s T.T.course to Newtownards and through Comber. Then we go past Castle Espie to Whiterock, following the coast of Strangford Lough to Killeyleagh for our picnic stop in Delamont Park. ( bring your own picnic or café on site ). After lunch we travel through Saintfield, Ballygowan and finish with our evening meal in the T T Bistro restaurant, 101 Mill Street Comber, where we can view their unique wall display of photographs of the Ards T T.
August Club Night 28/08/2018 There will be no club night in August.  
End of Season Run 08/09/2018 Mount Stewart National Trust Property, Portaferry Road, Newtownards. Permission has been given to display our vehicles at the front of the house. Vehicles should arrive between 9am and 10am. All vehicles MUST be in place by 10am and remain until 5pm. Vehicles arriving after 10am will be directed to the public car park. Tea/coffee will be served in a designated area of the Mount Stewart Coffee Shop. Don’t forget your picnic.
September Club Night 26/06/2018 Club Night- The secret listeners of Gilnahirk- George Busby.  
October A G M Club Meeting 30/10/2018  AGM - This will take place at 8pm in Banbridge Rugby Club, Ardery;s Lane, Newry Road, Banbridge. All members are requested to attend this important meeting when the committee for the incoming year will be appointed. Your attendance and involvement in the running of the club would be much appreciated.  
November Club Night 26/06/2018 Club Night- Martin McDowell on DNA and Family history.
